This years vintage is now upon us, and we’re thrilled to see the harvest just around the corner. The lead-up to harvest 2025 has been one of the driest on record for all growers in the Adelaide Hills, making for an interesting growing season. However, we’re happy to report that the overall quality of the fruit is looking excellent.
In terms of quantity, we’re seeing a slight increase in yields compared to the last two vintages, 2023 and 2024.
As we look ahead to the 2025 harvest, we’re excited to share that we’ll be working with 100% Pinot Noir—a varietal that continues to excite, challenge, and reward us. This year, we’ll be sourcing high-quality certified organic fruit from Balhannah and Forreston, working with some of the same growers we partnered with in 2024. We’re also proud to announce that this harvest will be exclusively certified organic fruit, something we are deeply passionate about.
We’re just a week or so away from harvest at Dear Zahra, and it’s always an exciting time. We’re looking forward to crafting wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Adelaide Hills.
